Money, explained as it actually moves.
We look at personal finance through timing, not just totals. That's the entire mission — no products attached.
Started from a simple observation.
Cash Flow Living began in St. Gallen as a side project among finance writers who noticed how much personal finance advice focused on annual totals, while ignoring the week-to-week reality of when bills land and when income actually arrives.
We wanted a place that treats timing as seriously as totals, since that's usually where day-to-day financial stress actually comes from.
Three principles behind everything we publish.
Always free
Every guide on this site is free to read and will stay that way. We do not gate content behind sign-ups or paid tiers.
Information, not advice
We explain how cash flow generally works. We do not review individual finances or recommend specific products or providers.
No hidden incentives
Cash Flow Living does not accept sponsorships from lenders, brokers or financial product companies. Nothing here is paid placement.
Working out of St. Gallen, writing for a wider audience.
Our editorial team is based in St. Gallen, Switzerland. While some examples reflect the Swiss context, the underlying idea — that timing matters as much as totals — applies broadly, and we keep terminology general wherever we can.
If something reads as specific to one country's system, we try to flag it clearly within the article itself.
A note on scope: Cash Flow Living does not offer paid services of any kind, does not manage money on anyone's behalf, and does not provide licensed financial, legal or tax advice. Everything published here is general education. For decisions specific to your situation, speak with a qualified, licensed professional.
